Improvement Lead


Andrea joined HQC in January of 2022 as an Improvement Lead. Prior to working at HQC, Andrea spent five years with the Saskatchewan Medical Association, focusing on health system improvement initiatives such as the Prince Albert Demonstration Project, the Clinical Quality Improvement Program, Choosing Wisely Saskatchewan, and Patient’s Medical Home.

Andrea’s passion for public and population health began during her Master of Public Health program at the University of Saskatchewan and was further cultivated through work experience as an epidemiologist with Health Canada’s First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (now known as Indigenous Services Canada) and most recently with a national COVID-19 Variants of Concern network called CoVaRR-Net.

Andrea also has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Saskatchewan.
