Jessica joined HQC as a Researcher in March 2011 and moved to her current role as an Improvement Lead in January 2020. 

During her time at HQC Jessica has worked on several projects related to evaluation, measurement design and quality improvement coaching, including, the Releasing Time to Care evaluation, the Appropriateness of Care team, and the Acute Stroke Pathway. 

Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Mount Allison University in 2009, and her Masters of Science degree in community health and epidemiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. Her research focused on tuberculosis transmission in Indigenous people in Canada and New Zealand. In 2015, Jessica completed the Advanced Training Program in Health Care Delivery Improvement from Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2020, she also completed the Learn Improvement Leader Training Program.
