Chris Plishka

Improvement Lead

Chris joined HQC as an Improvement Lead in 2025.

Prior to joining HQC, Chris was a facilitator with the Saskatchewan Centre for Patient-Oriented Research, a measurement specialist with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, and a research manager for various projects at the University of Saskatchewan. Chris is committed to engaging people with lived experience in improvement initiatives, including bringing together a wide variety of voices to ensure improvement works for everyone.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in economics and psychology, as well as a Master of Public Health from the University of Saskatchewan.

Outside of the office, Chris enjoys cycling and cross-country skiing and is actively involved in both communities, working to make the sports more accessible.
