Patient and caregiver concerns

While the Health Quality Council’s aim is to improve the quality of care in Saskatchewan’s health care system, we do not address or investigate individual cases. If you have a health care concern or complaint, here are some resources to help you:

Resolving health care concerns and complaints

The Government of Saskatchewan features a listing page with contacts and resources to resolve a health care concern or complaint. On this page, you can find a local Quality of Care Coordinator in your area that helps patients or family members with concerns about their care.

Saskatchewan Ombudsman

If you have already contacted the Quality of Care Coordinator, then another option is to contact the Saskatchewan Ombudsman at 1-800-667-9787 or by email at (Regina office: ombreg@ombudsman.sk.ca; Saskatoon office: ombsktn@ombudsman.sk.ca) or file a complaint online.
