From her early days as a registered nurse to her leadership as a healthcare executive, Cheryl has witnessed firsthand how continuous improvement can shape and strengthen patient outcomes across the care continuum.

Over the course of her longstanding career, she has held several senior leadership roles at both the district and regional levels, culminating in her tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the former Five Hills Health Region from 2009 to 2017. During this time, she and her team were awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Gold Medal for Excellence in Public Administration and played a leading role in optimizing the patient care journey through the strategic design of the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.

Cheryl’s commitment to safety and her dedication to advancing patient-centered care have made her a valued and influential member of our Board of Directors for over 11 years.
