Ellie Leclerc
Improvement Lead
Ellie joined HQC as an Improvement Lead in 2022, bringing a strong and compassionate foundation in social work. Her career has been shaped by a commitment to supporting individuals, families, and communities, with a particular focus on reducing barriers to access and advancing equitable, person-centered care.
Prior to joining HQC, Ellie served as Manager of Community and Family Well-Being for Muskoday First Nation. She has also held several roles with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, including Assessor Coordinator and Forensic Social Worker, and contributed to the Saskatoon Domestic Violence Therapeutic Court as a victim support worker. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Family Worker with Onion Lake Family Services Inc. Across these diverse experiences, Ellie cultivated strong expertise in system navigation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering services that truly centre the needs of clients.
A dedicated advocate for marginalized populations, Ellie brings a thoughtful, systems-level perspective to quality improvement. She is passionate about strengthening service delivery and improving outcomes across the health care continuum.
Ellie holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from St. Thomas University. She is a registered member of the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work through the University of Regina.
