Primary care nurse practitioner Aubrey Tollefson is joining HQC on Dec. 13 to discuss practical, clinic driven quality improvement and why it should matter to you. Participants will leave the session with an idea of how to set up a simple initiative in their own clinic or workspace to improve their clinic functioning, work/life balance, and patient satisfaction and safety.
Aubrey Tollefson is a nurse practitioner, farm wife and mom to her son and dogs. She has been working in rural primary care for the past two years with a prime clinical interest in women’s health, particularly women’s reproductive health. She is currently practicing at Mossbank and Lafleche Primary Healthcare Clinics, working with a wide range of patients, from week old infants to geriatrics, to palliative care. Prior to completing her master’s degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2022, she was a registered nurse working in rural ER and acute medical care. When she’s not working, Aubrey enjoys baking, gardening, knitting, sewing, and watching her son play hockey.
