Session description:

Men of the North is a male support program that provides healthy opportunities to the male population in Saskatchewan. We are an outreach initiative that welcomes all men regardless of their religion, ethnic background, and/or socioeconomic status. Our main goal is to increase the integrity of individuals. Change has to be voluntary, and our position is based on a volunteer membership and leadership capacity, in which we deliver high-quality weekly/bi-weekly workshops, healthy community engagement, opportunities for growth, and self-development. We also offer guidance for additional support, resources and deliver weekly workshops within the tri-community of Lac La Ronge area as well as bi-weekly within the Cameco Corporation at the Cigar Lake Operations.

Men of the North members engage in our programs and products for safe, healthy, reliable self-development and healing properties. Our non-profit program is implemented, led, guided, and attended by volunteers. Change has to be voluntary. Our head office is in Lac La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

In this webinar participants will learn:

  • How Men of the North started
  • How the program jumped into action during COVID
  • What people in the community are saying about the program
