Health system leaders, patient and family advisors gather in Saskatoon to learn about leading in complex systems

About 350 of Saskatchewan’s health system leaders, professionals, and patient and family advisors gathered at TCU Place in Saskatoon on Sept. 7, 2017, to “get comfortable with being uncomfortable.” The day-long learning opportunity was hosted by the Health Quality Council (HQC), which welcomed Paul Plsek to Saskatchewan to speak about understanding the dynamics of leading change in a complex system.

Paul, an innovation consultant in Atlanta, Georgia, is highly regarded for his work with health systems and serves as Chair of Innovation at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
