It’s been nearly five years since the Patient First Review came out with recommendations for improving health care in our province.
While much has been achieved since 2009, there is still work ahead, to make our system more patient- and family-centred. The Health Quality Council invites you to a public forum to hear where you think we should go from here. Forum participants will be joined by delegates attending the province’s annual Health Care Quality Summit. To get the discussion going, we will ask:
- What does being “Patient First” really mean?
- What would be different in our health system as a result of being “Patient First”?
- What is your wish list of things that should be done tomorrow, next year, and for the next generation?
A panel of health system leaders will respond to the ideas generated by public forum participants.
Whether you receive health care, provide health care, or just plain care about health care, plan to attend the forum on Wednesday May 7, 2:00-3:30 p.m. at TCU Place – Grand Salon on 2nd floor, 35-22nd Street East, Saskatoon (follow signage in the lobby).
